Sharing Awareness is a nonprofit, religiously and politically independent organization working with Teacher Training projects. We are working closely with local partners to improving the quality of education by training unqualified teachers.
Our vision is that every child should have the best teacher
By using progressive methods and ideas, focusing on e-learning in authentic school environments, the teacher training programmes we support are high quality, cost-effective, and extremely flexible. And by basing all our work on local needs and wishes, we can ensure that the exchange of knowledge in any teacher training programme is mutual – it’s all about sharing awareness.

The second Millennium Development Goal stipulates that all children, boys and girls alike, should be able to complete a full course of primary schooling by 2015. Sharing Awareness is dedicated to help achieving this goal.
During the past decade, rapid progress in access to education has been made globally but the pace of advance is unequal and, unfortunately, slowing. Even in countries where the goal of primary education for all seems to be achievable by 2015 on a national level, the quality of education is often a big problem with many teachers being unqualified, particularly in rural areas. Basically, schools everywhere need to be equipped to provide quality education.
In order to achieve this, there is a great need for new, innovative methods that can bring teacher training of the highest possible standard to those areas where the need is most pressing. E-learning offers great possibilities for increased flexibility and cost-effectiveness, and for sharing knowledge, ideas, and awareness across national and cultural borders. Our vision is a world where every child has access to the best possible teacher, and where access to high quality education is a reality for all.
