Our local partner in Ghana is eCAP (Electrionic Community Action Plan) Ghana Foundation, a registered NGO established in 2009 that has been working closely with Education Finder since its start. eCap Ghana Foundation focuses on addressing the unbalanced development within communities in Ghana, particularly in terms of health, education, and environmental awareness. This is done through the provision of necessary amenities and quality education. Since January 2009, eCap Ghana Foundation has been working in the village of Niliyungdo, in the Northern Region of Ghana, raising health awareness and sharing ideas about how to maintain and care for the environment. This community will then become an agent of change, inspiring other communities in the same district. Sharing Awareness is proud to support this very important and work, particularly since the results so far have been very positive. Starting June 2011, eCAP Ghana Foundation will be training over 30 teachers from the public school system, effectively giving them the status of qulified teachers.
